Since more than 20 years SAPHYMO is active in selected fields of radiation measurement covering development, production and distribution of innovative instruments. Fast growth is based on an innovative product line. Clients praise us for the ability to create sophisticated and cost-effective solutions. We are a recognised partner of both the nuclear industry and public sectors in Germany and worldwide. Through the last years we have gained a high reputation in the professional market especially in environmental and radon monitoring.

Since 1992 we successfully operate in the Eastern European markets especially through the company POSITRON TECHNOLOGY. We are a specialist in:

• state-of-the-art autonomous probes for environmental monitoring (brand name )
• radio transmission of environmental data, especially under extreme conditions (brand name )
• mobile equipment for radon measurement in soil, air, water and building materials (brand name )
• hand-held instrumentation for radiation measurement

Since 1995 we have equipped 20 French power plants with more than 440 GammaTRACER probes as a cost-effective solution for environmental monitoring. Moreover we have taken part in the conception of on-line environmental networks in Europe as a partner of Siemens and Debis.

The SkyLINK system – a proprietary network for radiotransmission of data – has made up a new dimension in wireless data collection. The compact set-up offers unreached new possibilities for data transmission for any kind of environmental data, especially in combination with the autonomous GammaTRACER probe. Worldwide system installations have proven its reliable and cost effective operation for mission-critical networks.

Basis of all Saphymo products is maintenance free operation up to three years which is valid under very demanding conditions reaching far beyond what can regularly be expected. This success is based on high technological standards and integrated quality assurance systems. With an export range up to 80% this is an important feature for all users of Saphymo products in the international markets where Saphymo is represented through more than 30 distributors.
